We asked Claudia D\u00edaz, Montessori British School principal, about the five most important things that children should learn when they are young, and this is what she answered:<\/p>\n

Languages:\u00a0<\/strong>
Today the world is very demanding: companies want to be global and need executives who can communicate across continents and understand cultural differences. And, in addition, learning another language requires time and patience, something that many adults do not have. That is why at the Montessori British School 4 languages \u200b\u200bare studied and internationally certified: English, French, Mandarin, and Spanish.

Music:<\/strong>\u00a0
It is proven that studying music develops more areas of the child\u2019s brain linked to reasoning and language, and that the neuronal process is potentiated. This is one of the reasons, Claudia affirms, for our results in the different international tests: not only did we achieve the highest results in Colombia in the seven IGCSE tests\u2014the best known around the world\u2014, but also 5 out of 6 of our students received the Distinction recognition. Music is rigorously studied at this prestigious campus, and every child, without exception, becomes a member of a musical group.
