In 2030, we will continue to be an educational community that, as a result of implementing different learning methods, will see our students recognized nationally and internationally for their high academic standards, knowledge in innovative areas, human potential, and charisma—essential factors for gaining admission to the best universities in Colombia and around the world—with the aim of leading initiatives to improve their quality of life and that of their social environment.
Quality policy
We are an institution dedicated to offering multilingual educational services (Spanish, English, French, and Mandarin) at the preschool, elementary, middle, and high school levels, with an emphasis on artistic and recreational activities, making use of functional environments to train competent and happy students, seeking excellence through requirements such as: ISO 9001, Cognia, Cambridge, among others, focused on continuous improvement in all organizational processes.
Environmental policy
Montessori British School is committed at all levels of the organization to preventing pollution and promoting environmentally safe spaces, exercising control over the environmental impacts of the institution's activities and processes, ensuring compliance with current environmental legislation and sustainable development.
All actions proposed by environmental management will have the human, physical, and financial resources necessary for their implementation, ensuring continuous improvement in environmental performance.
The entire educational community and stakeholders are required to protect the environment and comply with the environmental standards, procedures, and other requirements defined in the environmental management system.
Road safety policy
MONTESSORI BRITISH SCHOOL, as an educational institution aligned with its principles and values, is committed to implementing the Strategic Road Safety Plan, fostering behaviors within the Montessori community that promote safety, peace of mind, and well-being on internal and external journeys. To this end, it implements the following strategies:
- Complying with the legal requirements acquired in the area of Road Safety and the national traffic code (Law 769 of 2002).
- Establishing mobilization activities with high safety standards for the MONTESSORI BRITISH SCHOOL community.
- Providing financial, human, and technical resources for the planning, implementation, and monitoring of the PESV.
- Establishing road safety training and education spaces for the entire MONTESSORI BRITISH SCHOOL community, regardless of the type of road user.
- Compliance with safe speed management programs. Fatigue prevention, distraction prevention, zero tolerance for alcohol and drugs, and protection of vulnerable road users.
- Establishing control measures for vehicle maintenance, ensuring the optimal functioning of the vehicle fleet.
- Promoting and disseminating the use of safe areas and routes among all employees.
- Establishing protocols for action and training in the event of accidents and traffic incidents. The senior management of MONTESSORI BRITISH SCHOOL promotes the continuous improvement of these activities in order to comply with the objectives set out in the Strategic Road Safety Plan.
